Mark Schienberg is President of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association (GNYADA), a role he has held since 1986, leading the 116-year-old organization to national prominence while representing over 450 franchised new car dealers across the region. A longtime champion of workforce development, under his leadership, GNYADA conceived and built the $30 million, 90,000-square-foot Center for Automotive Education & Training in Whitestone, the first facility of its kind in the industry, and pioneered programs that reshaped dealer education, consumer protection, and government advocacy. He also oversees the New York International Automobile Show, transforming it from a regional event into one of the world’s most influential automotive showcases, generating hundreds of millions in annual economic impact for New York City, and founding signature initiatives such as the World Traffic Safety Symposium and Designs for Safety Competition. Scheinberg has helped raise millions for scholarships and training and serves on numerous education and policy boards; his contributions have earned him induction into the Automotive Hall of Fame.
